We provides a provision to check PNR status of Indian Railways train tickets. PNR means Passenger Name Record. According to Indian Railway Reservation System, this is a unique ten digit number that is associated with a ticket. This unique number is automatically created by Computer Reservation System (CRS) which is like an indexing code in the database wherethe information of the passenger or group of passengers are saved. This details also include important information about the passenger’s current reservation status which regularly gets updated with every cancellation of reserved ticket. Where to find PNR number on ticket:
PNR number is generally given on the top left corner of the printed tickets (tickets that are taken from railway station booking window). In case of the E – Ticket, it is mentioned at top in separate cell.
