The Term "PNR" is an abbreation for Passenger Name Record. PNR is a 10 digit unique identifier number which is issued by the Indian Railways everytime a passenger books a train ticket from IRCTC. You can find this PNR number at the upper-left corner on the train ticket, use this number to find the status of the ticket instantly.
